Bible Study

There are two activities that are first and foremost among the priorities of our church, and these two activities are worship and Bible study.  Worship you can read about on our worship page, but if you want to know about our ministry of Bible study then you need to know something about our "Sunday School."

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday morning and we have classes for every age group.  Two of our adult classes are pictured on this page, the Harmony Class and the Young Adult Class.  Every class is led by devoted teachers and involves members in opportunities to learn about the Bible and apply its wisdom to their lives.  Each class also engages in class projects and fellowship events from time to time, so class members are given the chance to know each other on a level that goes beyond the superficial.  We always welcome visitors and new members in every class.  If you have questions about our classes or where you might fit in during our Sunday School, you are invited to call the church office at 704-739-2516 and we will be happy to help you.  If you are visiting with us, we will be happy to have someone escort you to the classroom.

In addition to the classes that meet here at the church building each Sunday, we also offer a Sunday School class at nearby Kings Mountain Hospital.  This class welcomes staff and patients and affords our church the opportunity to extend our Bible study ministry beyond our four walls.  We also have Bible studies that are led by our pastor on Wednesday evenings.  These are typically expository studies of specific books of the Bible.  At present, we are studying the Gospel of John.
