Senior Adults

One of the emphasis ministries that we enjoy here at Kings Mountain Baptist Church is our senior adult ministry.  Our senior adult club is known as the "Keenagers," and we meet about every other month for breakfast and fellowship. 

A few of our ladies do a wonderful job of preparing a delicious meal and while we meet we discuss opportunities to travel to nearby attractions (such as the Billy Graham Library, pictured above) or to attend special worship events, which we customarily do in the months between our meetings.  One of our annual events is a Fall Leaf Tour and we customarily drive to Western North Carolina and visit the WNC Farmer's Market while also enjoying beautiful scenery and a good lunch together.

A large portion of our church membership is seniors, so this ministry is a very important part of our church.  Most of our activities are low in cost, but high in spiritual and fellowship return, so we invite anyone who would like to join us to come along for the ride.  Be sure to pay attention to the coming events page for Keenager trips and activities that have been planned.
